Before your Personal Alarm Pendant is ready for activation, it needs a full charge. Now that your pendant is fully charged, it's time to activate it. Follow these simple steps:
a. Power On
Press and hold the power button (the SOS panic button located on the front of the pendant) for 3 seconds. You'll see the LED indicator flash blue, indicating that the pendant is now turned on.
b. Connecting to our Monitoring Center
To make the most of your Personal Alarm Pendant, consider connecting it to our 24/7 monitoring center for activation and adding up emergency contacts, medical records, or any vital information such as PIN to Key Lock Box for emergencies.
c. Test the Alarm (Recommended)
We recommend testing your pendant to ensure it's functioning correctly. To do this, press the SOS alarm button once The pendant will vibrate or emit a sound indicating a call has been initiated alerting you to its functionality. Press it again to stop the alarm.
d. Adding up Emergency Contacts
In case of an emergency, our operators will add a few emergency contacts of your loved ones so the pendant will send an alert to your selected contacts with your GPS location.
e. Wear It Securely
Use the provided lanyard or clip to wear the SOS Connect pendant securely around your neck, on your clothing, or carry it in your pocket or purse. Make sure it's easily accessible in case you need it.
